BIRDS OF PREY AT CHEVIOT VIEW
On moving to Powburn in 2006 Dean, a keen falconer, had no idea the falcons he owned would prove to be so popular with the guests.
However the birds became a subject of conversation and this quickly developed during the season into giving everyone staying at Cheviot View the opportunity to see, photograph, discuss and handle some of the birds. In order to add to the interest Bede the Barn Owl and Amber the Harris Hawk arrived. In 2007 the range of birds is set to expand again and all new arrivals will be featured in due course on this page.
If you feel that you would like to spend some time with the birds don't hesitate to let Dean know during your stay.
